Lesley Ann Brandt (born December 2, 1981) is an South African actress, model and TV host. Her acting career began through her role on the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came with her next role playing Naevia in the historical drama series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress appeared in a number of shows over the last decade and included in them Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians as well as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Brandt portrays the role of Mazikeen on the urban fantasy show Lucifer that stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born in Cape Town, South Africa. Her move to Auckland with her family in her late teens. The path she took to her career started as model for print ads and commercial advertisements. Before becoming a famous model, she worked as a retail salesperson, and as a recruitment consultant in the field of information technology. She landed her first featured role in 2009 in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity where she was given the character as Leilani Fa'auigaese. In 2021 she appeared in Spartacus Blood and Sand as a young slave girl named Naevia. The role of Naevia was also reprised by her on the Spartacus mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three separate TV shows that included Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, Mazikeen was cast as the bounty hunter on Netflix's popular series Lucifer. The role is her most prominent to date. The show is paired together with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
