Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she studied the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. She survived on a student allowance and worked part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox made the decision to alter her path in life following her dissatisfaction with her lack of skill in the same way as other Royal Academy students. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. The group didn't appear on the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980 she was singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop band. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox started working on Diva in 1992. It was her debut album as a solo artist. This album became a huge hit as well as sales and the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album came out in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera came out by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The collection comprised of four songs improvised. The E.P. The album is a companion to her Now I let the door open... artwork which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first self-released album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on the 25th of December 1954. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox, along with Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, would go on to gain international recognition in the 1980s with the Eurythmics. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva was a huge success, featuring a variety of tracks, such as Why as well as Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album, which was that was released in 1995 features the versions of a few of her best-loved songs, including The No MoreI Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). Her solo catalog includes six studio albums, as well as one compilation album to her credit. |
